SPEF Color Festival | March 16th, 2019

A family-friendly event, in the spirit of the Indian Holi Festival celebrating the coming of Spring, that brings together our local communities and families to celebrate with food, music, dancing & fun. The Color Festival is SPEF’s alternative to the much missed annual Fun Fair, with a splash of color thrown in to welcome spring!

Color Festival Information & Tips

Do wear white! Most everyone wears a white shirt, and you can go all out with white headbands, shorts, knee socks…whatever you like!

Don’t worry! The color is non-toxic. Just colored cornstarch and food grade coloring.

Don’t wear anything too precious. The color may or may not come out of your clothes and shoes so wear old ones that you don’t mind getting mucked up a bit.

Bring your hunger. We will have great food vendors there to satisfy any hunger, including: Dina’s Dumplings, Menchie’s, Kona Ice, Kon Tiki Taco, and Twohey’s!

Bring sunglasses and a bandana to cover your eyes, mouth, and nose if you plan to get doused. We will have some inexpensive ones available for purchase at the event.

Bring a plastic, sealable baggie for your phone. You will want to take pictures but you don’t want to ruin your phone/camera.
